9 demo websites, first 3 with notes on why they win

Anyone can show you client work you can’t verify. So I invented nine businesses and built each one a complete, working site on my own domain. Click through them the way your customer would click through yours, looking for the reason someone else wins the job.

  • Ashdown Paving homepage: dark tarmac layout over a drawn herringbone pattern

    Ashdown Paving & Driveways

A driveways firm whose site does the quoting before the phone rings.

  • Tredington Roofing homepage: wet slate layout with a tarp blue emergency band

    Tredington Roofing

A roofer's site built around the 2am problem: an open roof tonight.

    View live site

  • Bredon Build homepage: drawing-sheet layout with a dimension line under the hero

    Bredon Build

An extensions firm that prints its payment schedule instead of hiding it.

Not trades, and that’s the point. If I can build a dentist and a hot sauce shop as well as a roofer, your site won’t come back looking like a template with your logo on it.

  • Elin Marsh Run Coaching homepage: a white race bib on track blue carrying the headline

    Elin Marsh Run Coaching

A one-coach personal brand site that books discovery calls, not compliments.

  • Aurelia Aesthetics homepage: serif headline beside a cream treatment room

    Aurelia Aesthetics

A med spa site that looks expensive because the clinic is.

    View live site

  • Meridian Dental homepage: blue and white layout with a sunlit surgery

    Meridian Dental

A dentist site built around one promise: the price in writing first.

  • Nightbloom homepage: dark amber layout with candlelit apothecary shelves

    Nightbloom

An apothecary brand site with a working basket and a candlelit feel.

  • Foxcombe Barn homepage: a drawn grounds plan with numbered plot markers

    Foxcombe Barn

A venue site drawn like a map of its own grounds, with a working enquiry flow.

    View live site

  • Six Bells Hot Sauce homepage: a photographed sauce bottle on a hot orange ground beside the headline

    Six Bells Hot Sauce

A hot sauce shop with a working basket and a heat meter you can argue with.

Free: the 5-minute Google Maps check

Five things you can fix on your own listing in five minutes. No sign-up, and I want nothing for them.

  • Get your main category exactly right

This is the one that matters most, and most listings have it wrong. Pick the exact category for what you do, not the closest one you recognise. A driveway firm filed under builder does not come up when somebody searches for driveways.

  • Put your real opening hours in

Your actual hours, kept right, including the days you are shut. Never claim 24/7 when you are not: someone rings at 10pm, gets nothing, and that is the review you end up with.

  • Add recent photos of real jobs

Photos of work you finished this month, and keep adding them. Old photos tell a customer you have not worked in a while, which is not what you meant to say.

  • Keep the reviews coming in

A review from last month counts for more than a five-star from three years ago, so this is never finished. Send an honest-feedback text after every job and ask properly. Never buy them.

  • Set your real service areas

List the towns you actually cover and no more. Claiming half the county to look bigger works against you, because it makes you a stranger in every one of them.

These five are the start. I go through the rest on the call, and clients get the full playbook in their Booster Plan.

Every build, no extra charge

Found by Google and AI assistants

Each one ships built to be found, so you come up when someone asks Google or ChatGPT for a business like yours. You don’t need to know how it works. It’s included in every build.

No fake trust signals: no invented reviews, stars, or member counts. Sites that lie to Google eventually pay for it.

Want one like these?

Thirty minutes on a video call. I put your business through all six stages and show you the three I would fix first. Yours to keep either way.

Jose Ortiz Flores, who builds every one of these sites

Jose Ortiz Flores

I’m Jose. I build these myself, and I’m the one who replies.

All nine businesses are fictional. The sites, carts, booking and enquiry flows are real, and everything on this page can be clicked and tested.
